• Since the CVT belt is always engaged it’s easy to get smooth engine braking. Transmission and belt
converter ratios selected for optimum power feeling and speed range appropriate for a small-displacement
ATV. Grooves in the centrifugal clutch shoes contribute to cooling, which increases durability. Bevel gear has
a carbonitriding and WST shot peening treatment for increased durability.
• Like the air intake duct, the CVT intake duct is located high on the chassis under the tail to help prevent mud
and water from entering the system.
